Where I am working, our commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C system consistently seems to be on the fritz.
In the winter, the heat does not pump through the air duct sufficiently as well as in the summer time the cooling only seems to work in the home (I work on the third floor).
Because of the volatility of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system, I have a portable space gas furnace that I use in our office for the winter. In the summer, I have a little fan that I grab to the top of our computer as well as another little fan just right on the right side of my desk. Being as it is the summer time right now- as well as yeah, I am right back in the office in the middle of a global pandemic- I am irritated. I sweat during the afternoon and periodically run downstairs just for a little bit of air conditioning. The portable space gas furnace does wonders in the winter, however in most summers, I’m constantly burning up. I have been looking online for an air conditioning equivalent to the portable space heater, although I have not found anything. I’m starting to wonder if there is an air conditioning equivalent to a portable heated gas furnace at all. In our own head, I feel as if this should exist. Fans are great however they particularly just blow the hot air around after a while. I’m looking for a portable space cooling system. Is there any such thing? Please help me some, internet! Maybe I’m just not searching the right words or phrases, although I have been completely unsuccessful in finding a portable air conditioning solution.
