Where I am currently working, my commercial Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system typically seems to be on the fritz.
In the winter, the heat does not pump through the HVAC duct adequately and in the warm season the cooling only seems to work downstairs (I work on the hour floor).
Due to all of the volatility of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, I have a portable section gas furnace that I use in my office for the winter. In the summer, I have a tiny fan that I clip to the top of my laptop and another little fan I place on the right side of my drawer. Being as it is the Summer right now- and yep, I am back in the office in the early stage of a global pandemic- I am angry. I sweat all day and occasionally run downstairs just for a little bit of a/c. The portable section gas furnace does wonders in the winter, however in the summers, I’m typically warm. I have been looking online for an a/c equivalent to the portable section heater, however I have not found anything. I’m starting to wonder if there is an a/c equivalent to a portable section gas furnace at all. In my own head, I think like this should exist. Fans are amazing but they absolutely just blow the hot air around after a while. I’m looking for a portable section air conditioner. Is there any such thing? Please help me out, internet! Maybe I’m just not searching the right words or phrases, but I have been unsuccessful in finding a portable a/c solution.
