I want to hit the beach today and sit in the white sand and relax.
I think the beach is quiet now and the water is warm so it should be a good day in the sand.
My mom lives right across the street from the beach and gets a good cooling effect from the sea breeze. Maybe one of my volleyball friends could come by and hit the ball around with me a bit. I brought my volleyball from Europe so I am ready to play some here. We usually play at this bar, which has great air conditioning, so we can cool down after a bunch of games in the hot sun. I hope my body can hold out in this heat because I am not so young anymore. I need to visit my friend, who is a local contractor, to see if he has any work for me while I am here. I like to help him with HVAC repairs because I have a lot of experience working on the units. I was doing a lot of manual labor work until I was about 40 years old, after which I left it all to pursue a career in the arts. I am much more fulfilled and content doing music shows as opposed to working at the local business stocking shelves with HVAC equipment. You really need to find that thing in life that stirs your soul, otherwise you are just living to exist and there is more to life than just getting by. Remember these words if you want to be content.
