It is getting hot here very fast as we are now in the middle of April and the cooler weather is history.
- I am here visiting for another four weeks so I will leave just in time because in May it turns into a furnace in this town.
I’ll be happy to get back to the cooler weather overseas but not happy about leaving all of my friends and family behind. I guess I will just come back in five months and stay here for another month like I’m doing now. At least we have ice cold air conditioning in our house here because I wouldn’t be sleeping if not. I think I’ll ask my cousin, who’s house I am staying in now, if she could put the smart thermostat on a colder setting because it was a bit too warm last night for me. I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom but it turns so slowly that it really doesn’t cool me down at all. Maybe I can go to the local business that sells HVAC equipment and buy a tiny portable air conditioner for my room. I don’t think they cost that much and I bet I could sell it for almost the price I paid for it. I could try to buy a used mini split air conditioner but I think that they would be hard to find right now given that the hot weather is coming very quickly. I guess a small fan would be the best solution to my problem. That or maybe a spray bottle with water!
