I’m at the age where it seems like all of my friends are getting married.
Even though I am cheerful for them, going to ceremonys weekend after weekend can get a little old. I find myself getting a little more worried with the travel, lodging, plus extra stuff that goes along with being a ceremony guest. This last weekend, I went to a ceremony for one of my college buddies. Both of us met in college, however neither of us live in the same city. I really care about my friend, so it was no concern to book a flight plus a hotel room so that I could be there plus show up for him plus his bride. While the ceremony was tied up in the summer, it was an indoor event. This would have been fine, however it seemed like the venue had no air conditioner. They had ceiling fans going plus the windows were open, however the room was tepid plus stiff. I couldn’t guess that every one of us had all gotten dressed up in suits just to rest in a tepid room in the middle of the summer. I even asked one of the workers what was going on with the air conditioner. I asked his if it was broken or something, but he insisted that they had the air conditioner on. The rest of the guests plus I had a tough time believing that. It made it really taxing to get on the dance floor plus enjoy the evening when every one of us were all so hot. I couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel plus blast the air conditioner.
