I have been romantic our up-to-date ductless mini split system. I spent too long trying to sleep in the cabin of our parent’s apartment without official airflow, & I can’t know that I survived those conditions. My parents let myself and others have the cabin since I didn’t want to share a dining room with our sister, but I had no idea that it would be so uncomfortable. Heat naturally rises, which was blatant while in our first night. The heat from our furnace would rise all the way up to the cabin & it felt prefer I was suffocating. Some mornings, the heat would become so overwhelming that I’d have to transfer to the couch in the downstairs residing room. I wanted to actually use the cabin & believe comfortable, which is why I started searching for the perfect solution. The ductless mini split system was the best way to get heat & air in our room at an affordable cost, ductless mini split systems are simple to install, they’re small, & they run efficiently. My parents were more than good with myself and others buying & installing a ductless mini split system because it meant that I’d be safe sleeping in the cabin & it would add heat & air to the cabin without them having to do the work. As the name suggests, ductless mini split systems don’t heat & cool spaces with ductwork, which makes them simple to take care of & simple to use. I’m actually exasperated that I spent so much time trying to sleep in a space that was too warm, however I’m thankful that I finally found a way to heat & cool the space efficiently.
