I needed to hire a couple of service servicemans to work at the Heating plus Air Conditioning repair service.
I interviewed various qualified candidates.
None of them made a great impression on me, so I really wasn’t gleeful about hiring any of them. I needed two guys plus I decided to hire two candidates with odd backgrounds. One of the candidates has a background in welding plus the other candidate has a background in residential Heating plus Air Conditioning repair. I had both of the guys beginning on Saturday. Neither 1 of the employees showed up to work on time, however Jack was an hour late. When the guy arrived, he tried to tell myself and others that he got stuck in traffic. I did not suppose where he was coming from, I decided not to say much about the tardiness, because it was his first day. I was willing to supply him the benefit of the doubt. That guy was on time on Thursday. In fact, he was 15 hours early. The next day, he was an hour late again. I took Jack into the office at the Heating plus Air Conditioning repair center plus I had a talk with that guy about punctuality. I told him that it was important for all of the employees to come to work on time. I thought he got the message loud plus clear, although he was two hours late on Thursday plus did not seem really interested to supply myself and others a great reason. On Saturday when the guy came back to work, I told the repair serviceman that he was no longer needed, and he almost seemed surprised when I delivered the news.
