Purchasing a dehumidifier for my lake house

Last year, I invested in a lake home for my family.

It’s always been a dream of mine to retire and spend summers relaxing on the water.

It took a lot of saving and planning, however it feels so superb to have made that dream my reality; Unfortunately, there are several aspects to owning a lake home that I didn’t plan for, then for example, the dock needs to be rebuilt and repainted. There are several projects that I have to complete before I can fully appreciate the property! Currently, I am toiling on getting a dehumidifier installed as an affixment for my cooling system. The humidity in the beach home is causing the home to think warmer, even when I am blasting the cooling system. I find that I am wasting both cash and energy. I thought that air was escaping through the doors and windows causing the cooling system to be less effective. I consulted with an HVAC business, and they told myself and others that it was really a result of the high moisture in the air. In running the dehumidifier in combination with the cooling system, the air will think cooler due to the removal of moisture. As a result, I will not need to run the cooling system as frequently. The HVAC corporation will return late this week to install the dehumidifier. I am legitimately looking forward to it! I guess this will make my lake home much more comfortable and cool, then plus, it’s a single less project on my plate!
