Nowadays, it seems appreciate most homes rely on some kind of gas furnace or heating device.
A lot of homes lack what I grew up with, a fireplace.
When I was growing up, the people I was with and I didn’t have a central oil furnace, all the people I was with and I had was a appealing gas fireplace. It was surrounded by stone & was entirely appealing. When Wintertide came, our family & I would all gather around the fireplace to heat up. This gave us time to share stories, news & whatever else was going on in our lives at that time. It gave us time to play board games & just spend time with each other. I look back at those memories as some of our fondest, as it was pure family time. While I admire the new & current heating units, I think I still like fireplaces more. In our current home, the people I was with and I don’t have a fireplace, however just thinking back to our aged 1 makes myself and others want to get a house with 1, as I would want to recreate all of those memories. Although having the gas furnace in our house evenly spreads the heated air around, which is nice considering the fireplace didn’t do that, however there is something about a real fireplace. I didn’t want to get an electric fireplace either, I wanted the real thing. Now that our wifey is expecting our first child, maybe it is time for us to go & start looking around at some new homes. I’ve already talked to our wifey about it, & she enjoys the method of having a appealing fireplace in our new home.
