I live in the North, so the boiler always has a hard time heating our house, but also, boilers do not look as pretty as normal gas furnaces
I just had a major flood in our house, and it is all because of the gas furnace that is currently in our basement. On the plus side, I am going to be able to afford our up-to-date gas furnace a lot sooner than I thought that I would, however on the downside, it is because our old gas furnace caused a pressing mess. I have a boiler as our gas furnace. When I first bought this house, I was pretty impressed that the condo had a boiler. I didn’t know a lot about boiler gas furnaces, however since it wasn’t common, I was delighted. I had always used a gas furnace in the houses that I lived in previously, so I thought that it would be cool to live in something strange for a change. However, looking back, I wish that I wouldn’t have gotten the boiler. Nobody told me that boilers are really inefficient. If the temperature is above 40 degrees, boilers are really efficient. However, boiler gas furnaces have a hard time heating the part when the rapidly decreasing temperatures outside are cold. I live in the North, so the boiler always has a hard time heating our house, but also, boilers do not look as pretty as normal gas furnaces. Another problem with the boiler is that it relies on water. This seems love a fantastic thing, however when our gas furnace started spraying water in the basement, I realized that it genuinely wasn’t a good thing. However, I am going to have to substitute that boiler with a up-to-date a single since I don’t want to switch gas furnaces right now.
