This was one of the main motivators to get me back to the states from overseas; dinner at mom’s house.
I used to do it every week when I was living here but then decided to move overseas because I was tired of constantly chasing money and the rat race involved in doing so. Now I work about 12 hours a week and have a lot of free time to relax and work on myself. Life is much better when you aren’t forced to work 40 or 50 hours a week at a place you don’t want to be at. The air conditioning company I work for now overseas lets me pick my own schedule each week so I can work when I feel like it. I love going to work there because I know I can take off any time I feel like it. There is a local business here in the states that lets me do the same thing because they can always use an extra set of hands to stock the shelves. I don’t want to work too much while I am here because I want time to spend with my family and just chill out on the beach when I feel like it. I try to stay inside with the central air conditioning blasting away until it is about 5pm, and then I’ll head to the beach and watch the sunset. I don’t like the midday sun destroying my skin so I stay out of it as much as I can. I’m going to clean the HVAC system’s filters today during the afternoon.
