Last summer, my family and I went on a huge vacation to the beach.
- There were a total of 6 families that went on the trip, so we practically had a whole wing of the hotel rented out.
The hotel was really nice and located right on the beach. We had ocean views from our balconies and we were in a great location. However, some of the group had a less desirable stay than others of us. My wife and I were enjoying the room we got. It was cool and comfortable. On the first day, we got a knock on the door. My brother was standing there getting ready to complain about how hot his room was, but then he realized that our room was perfectly cool. We figured he must not be turning his air conditioning on correctly, but after I went over to his room to take a look, I realized that was not the case. Even though the thermostat was set correctly, his room was hot and stuffy. When my brother asked at the front desk, they said that there must be a problem with that specific room. His options were to stay in the stuffy room with no air conditioning, or move his whole family into a room nowhere near the rest of our group. After some deliberating, my brother decided to stay with the group and suffer through the lack of air conditioning.
