I’m a bit of a clean freak and I admit it. Certainly, there are worse things in this world than being a bit obsessed with order and cleanliness. Still, I know that I can be pretty irritating about the state of the house at times. There are times when my husband simply has to pour a glass of wine and sit me down in the air conditioning to relax. My default seems to be come home from the zone controlled HVAC of the office and start cleaning. And I’ll even clean stuff that is already clean! Again, I’m thankful that I have someone in my life who understands me and helps me sort of get my priorities reoriented from time to time. However, I’ll never forget watching this sort of dustball thing floating down from the ceiling. I had found these little dust balls around from time to time just laying in the middle of the carpet. Of course, I immediately vacuumed them up and cursed my children under my breath. But all along, it was the gross ductwork that was producing these dust balls. Once I saw this, I called the HVAC company thinking something really messed up was happening. But they calmed me down and then set up an appointment for ductwork cleaning and ductwork resealing. The HVAC professionals who came to the house to do the ductwork cleaning were super. They were careful in my house and even wore covers over their shoes. What I’m still amazed by is the great indoor air quality in our house after the ductwork cleaning was completed.
