HVAC heat pump is go to in all seasons

Currently, we are in perhaps my favorite time of year.

I love the winter where I live.

However, that has nothing to do with the a white Christmas or long, cold winters with all sorts of HVAC heating. It’s quite the opposite really. I live in a part of the country where the winter is just so very mild. Plus, there are just day after day with all kinds of sun and blue skies. Another reason I love this time of year is that the HVAC cooling is finally off. Where I live, the air conditioning can be on in some capacity for about 8 months of the year. Of course, the summer gets the most of the HVAC cooling with the heat pump running night and day. The heat pump gets a bit of a rest this time of year. However, there are times during the winter where the thermostat gets moved to heating. And the heat pump does a great job of knocking the chill out of the house. But it’s not like there is a great deal of HVAC heating for the heat pump during our quite tame winter. That said, I’m just so glad that we are able to rely on this great piece of HVAC technology. No matter the season, the heat pump is right there to take care of all of our heating and cooling needs. All we have to do is change the thermostat setting and the heat pump takes care of the rest. But for now, I’m glad to have the heat pump take a long deserved rest after it got the HVAC heating maintenance a few weeks ago. And I’m certain that the heat pump will be there and ready when we need a bit of heating in the coming months.
