I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to heating and cooling comfort in my life. Thankfully, I’m able to pretty much control that in most situations. Our home has the latest in residential HVAC and HVAC technology. We have a smart thermostat which has learned my behaviors and is normally spot on with my heating and cooling needs. When it misses a bit, I have the smart thermostat on my app so I don’t even have to get up to change the thermostat setting. At work, I’m also pretty tuned in to the HVAC. Our offices have zone controlled HVAC. There are 6 separate zone controlled HVAC areas in the office. I’m lucky to have a thermostat right outside of my office and everyone in my HVAC zone is sort of on the same page with the thermostat setting. Even the car I drive has zone controlled HVAC of sorts. So I can get the air conditioning comfort I want in whatever seat I’m occupying. But one place that I’ve had trouble with is hotels. Spending as much time on business travel as I do, I’ve seen the spectrum of HVAC equipment in hotels. Most have come up short. That is until I discovered the hotels that are just off the interstate. Those places have the real deal when it comes to HVAC equipment. The wall unit heating and cooling equipment is the best out there. It makes short work of heating and cooling any room. So from now on, I’ll be making sure my lodging choice includes this sort of hotel and this particular heating and cooling equipment.
