This year for Christmas, my wife and I decided to get out of town.
The kids weren’t very happy with our decision, but we wanted to do something different for a change.
We had a celebration a few days before we left and we provided all of the children and grandchildren where’s their holiday gifts. My wife and I went to a ski lodge known for the personal chalets and beautiful sunset views. One of the best parts about the individual chalet was the radiant heated flooring. Radiant heated flooring is a feature that I cannot afford in my home. It costs thousands of dollars to install the equipment. I was excited when I found out that the chalet had radiant heated flooring. When my wife and I arrived at the chalet, we found the heat to be off. It was particularly cold inside of the building and I was worried that it would take a long time for the floors to warm the entire building. I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the radiant heated flooring. It heated up very quickly and brought the whole room to wonderful temperature in a few short hours. My wife and I were at the ski lodge for 5 days and we had a wonderful adventure. We ate food from a three Michelin star chef. We also went skiing for the first time and I tried snowboarding as well. We spent nearly every night in front of the fireplace and we didn’t miss being at home for one moment. We are absolutely going to make this our Christmas tradition from this point forward.
