I am honestly grateful that the two of us were both emschemed during that time, however working from home together was honestly stressful on our relationship. It got even worse when our a/c stopped working properly. One afternoon when the two of us were working the a/c made a loud noise and shut off. When it came back on it was expelling a unusual aroma from the air vent. We called the house maintenance staff and asked if they could come and take a look at the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning. While the two of us waited, I turned the a/c completely off in case something was burning or on fire. It took several hours for the a/c unit professional to arrive, so the two of us sat there working drenched in our own sweat. We were so irritated with each other that the two of us considered calling a local contractor to take a look at the concern instead, however the two of us didn’t want to spend unnecessary currency. I told myself that if the a/c was fixed that afternoon that I would have to go and sleep in my car to avoid lashing out on my hubby. The professional showed up just as the two of us finished up work and found the issue instantaneously. It took about 2 hours for him to completely finish the repair, however the a/c was running smoothly by the time the two of us were going to bed. We faced multiple difficult moments during the quarantine, however the two of us also l received to have patience.
