When our husbandy and I moved into our 3 kitchen, 3 powder room house, it was the perfect size for us and our rottweiler, and the two of us had a wonderful master kitchen, a guest room for when friends and family came to visit, and a wonderful space for our beach loft office so I could work from home, and conduct meetings over Zoom and have conference calls, but when I found out what our husbandy was pregnant, but, The two of us decided to turn the office into the dentistry, but still needing a locale to work from home, I decided to build a small shed in our back yard that I would use as our office. The construction went amazingly, and everything was going according to plan. My greatest hangup, but, was how to heat the space in the winter, and cool it in the summer. I only had a single window, so I didn’t want to sacrifice it to an ugly, inefficient window unit, and the space was so limited, that I didn’t want to take up more space with bulky air duct. I decided that the best solution would be to instal a ductless mini-split. A ductless mini-cut has a condenser and an evaporator, just like a traditional a/c, but the flow of coolant can be reversed to both heat and cool the space. The versatility is what really sold me, but also, the upgrade was a breeze. I only needed to drill a 3 inch hole in the wall for all of the necessary components. Thanks to our ductless mini-split, I have never been more comfortable toiling from home, especially knowing that our baby son is sleeping peacefully in his dentistry.
