The HVAC worker was not able to come till the next afternoon, so I had to sleep that evening in a friend’s room because the furnace heated our room so much
The furnace in our dorm was not laboring correctly. Every one of us were all gleeful about the fall semester, however we had a pressing complication with the furnace. I remember walking into our room on a sizzling afternoon, gleeful to suppose the refreshing air of the a/c, however instead I was met by some harsh heat. I set our stuff down and checked the thermostat. The thermostat read an extremely high temperature, however the thermostat also said that the furnace was off. I went to the air ducts and felt sizzling air coming out, which confirmed that the heating system was indeed on, and it was not laboring correctly. I went to the front desk of the dorm and told them the problem. They had the janitor manually shut off our furnace for us. I was so relieved that the furnace was off and our room was at a comfortable temperature again. I felt the cool air of the a/c hitting our face and laid back in our bed perfectly pleased. Unfortunately, the fantastic a/c only lasted a couple of minutes before the furnace kicked on on its own and started to heat up our room again. I rolled our eyeah and sighed. I called the front desk and told them our room furnace turned on on its own again. They called an HVAC worker to come fix our furnace for myself and others so I would not have to deal with the heat anymore. The HVAC worker was not able to come till the next afternoon, so I had to sleep that evening in a friend’s room because the furnace heated our room so much. The HVAC worker came the next afternoon and fixed the furnace for me, and from that afternoon on I became incredibly thankful for the a/c.
