But the future is here and the future is now
One thing I have thought about lately is the fact that many commercial buildings these days no longer have industrial furnaces like they used to back in the day when I was growing up! Even the schools which were famous for having industrial furnaces for their heating have gone the route of just getting the most brand new and up to date commercial heating and air conditioning system units. These days I think that is the normal for commercial building. Those industrial furnaces are more or less out dated and a major thing of the past. Some may call them ancient and I guess it is for good reasoning. It just much easier to maintain and deal with today’s commercial heating and air conditioning systems than it is the old industrial furnaces. Personally I like the feel of the heating that came from the old furnaces better than the electric heating that comes out of commercial heating and air conditioning systems of today. Having the electric heating to me is much more of a dry heat compared to the old industrial furnaces. But that is just my humble opinion. There must be something to it if you are having everyone go the commercial heating and air conditioning system way of today. So I guess maybe I am just stuck in the past. But the future is here and the future is now. And this is something I personally am just going to have to get used to. I am just glad I do not own a building or I would be old school and just get an old industrial furnace because that would be my preference!
