I hope tomorrow evening they have some air conditioner in the lounge where I am performing because I am still acclimating to the heat here plus it would be a shame to be dripping with sweat plus uncomfortable on stage in front of my hometown crowd.
I basically quit doing rest up comedy a few years ago however still dabble in it now plus then. I did it long enough to realize that I am not going to “make it” in the supplier so I turned my sights on music. I then realized that you don’t need to “make it” to have fun doing it so I still do it now plus then for fun however not at such a frantic pace like before. I was getting on stage about 14 times a month for the first 11 years of performing. I did clubs with no heat in the Wintertide plus others with no air conditioner in the tepid Summer plus suffered with both. It’s not like comedy isn’t taxing enough with a nice weather conditions control system, not having it only adds to the stress of being on stage in front of tough crowds. I much care about playing drums plus singing with my friend on the streets plus in clubs, music is much more powerful than mere words alone. Maybe I’ll bring a small fan with me plus tell all the people that it is my greatest fan. Yeah, that was a terrible joke, I don’t do jokes. I guess I did a set in the same lounge a few years ago plus remember it having a great toiling Heating plus Air Conditioning system.
