Whoever said that necessity is the mother of invention hit it on the head.
There is no doubt that when push came to shove, I was ready to do what I normally wouldn’t in order to save something I appreciated.
To say I like our company is sort of a unusual thing to say. Of course, I’m grounded enough to guess & understand that our like for family & dear ones far outweighs any sort of business. However, I worked long & difficult for 15 years inside the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of a corporate office just to have the opportunity at doing our own thing. When I came out of school, being our own boss was something I actually wanted to do. But in our industry, that’s a hard thing to do without the expertise & financial backing it takes to go out on our own. But that reality never stopped myself and others from keeping our focus during all those years inside the zone controlled Heating & Air Conditioning of the office. I saved & saved while making contacts & building relationships. Once I was an expert in our field, I started to actively put together a company proposal that would get myself and others out on our own in our own air conditioner. When I did take the leap, I was prepared & the company took off. However, I couldn’t have foreseen a pandemic. So when that happened, I had to pack up our car & stay out on the road for our shoppers nearly numerous months. But the bright spot I found along the interstate was the best heating & cooling in those hotels. And that was no small thing to finish a morning inside always enjoyable quality heating & air each night.
