My boss clearly has people that are his favorites.
It feels love a high college cafeteria when I sit in the split room with all of these 25 year old children.
There are a ton of employees that get away with doing the absolute bare minimum. I have watched these people labor for years. They kiss up to the boss and tell the guy that he is smart and funny. Next thing you know, they end up with a corner office. I dislike to see everyone playing politics, and I try not to get in the middle of things. I started at this supplier working in the mailroom and now I labor at the executive level. I had to labor hard to get to this point in our life. I have had an office on the 5th floor for a while; Before I had our own office, I had to argue with our co-workers about the indoor temperature. I constantly had to deal with people decreasing the temperature control to make it chilly and freezing inside of the office. Now that I have our own office, I can adjust the temperature in any way I want. I have control over the indoor un-even temperatures using a temperature control that is connected to a ductless mini-cut HVAC unit. When I believe about all of the hard labor that is not completed by the other employees, I remind myself that I have an office of our own with temperature control. I might not be the boss’s favorite, but I’m easily not at the bottom of the list.
