So several people take the AC for granted

After I left the military, I decided to find a task working with people in other countries

A lot of people take indoor temperature control for granted. I took the AC for granted for a long time. I never considered a/c to be a luxury. I grew up in a time when everyone had Central AC in the house. It seemed as normal as having a toilet, washing machine, or oven. When I joined the military, I had the opportunity to visit other countries and see how other people live around the world. I had an assignment that took myself and others to a different country and a different continent. I spent a lot of time with the people in that nation and I got to believe some of them really well. I made friends that I will remember for the rest of our life. I l earned a lot about the culture and the way that the people live. None of the people had Central AC in their homes and it did not seem to bother them at all. The people weren’t dripping with sweat or complaining, because they found other ways to stay cool. I particularly l earned a lot about different cultures and the way the people I was with and I live. I realized that I was taking a lot of things for granted. The experience easily made myself and others a better person. After I left the military, I decided to find a task working with people in other countries. It is our task now to help people set up utilities love water, sewer, and power in countries that would be considered second world arenas. I particularly like our task and I believe love I am helping to make a difference.
