Need food from the local business

My HEPA filter salesman told me, one day while working on an HVAC system, that it is a losing battle comparing yourself to others.

Today is Tuesday and I am running out of food and everything in my flat. I live in a flat, unlike many of my buddies who have their own houses, but I decided I didn’t want to own a house again as it takes up too much of my time. Part of me feels like I am missing out though because some of them have homes on the mountaintop with amazing views, while I look out my window and see an old building next to me. But it is easy to compare your life and think it falls short, like HVAC systems in the stores, you can always find a better one than you have and you’ll always feel like you don’t have enough. I find myself comparing my life to others, either consciously or subconsciously, and I always feel like they are better than I am. My HEPA filter salesman told me, one day while working on an HVAC system, that it is a losing battle comparing yourself to others. He was right about that and I am trying to learn to enjoy what I have. Anyway, today I have to go shopping at the local business because I haven’t shopped in like over a week and am running out of my refrigerated foods and cat litter. I spend about $70 a week on food, which is pretty darn cheap if you compare it to the food in the States, but maybe I shouldn’t be comparing! I think what I should do is go clean my furnace filter and mind my own business.
