I sighed and waited for a commercial
I have to admit that a rather important piece of my weekend is the Wednesday pigskin games. All month I work and slave away hoping that game day will be the relaxing break I need to unwind from work, so I can watch a fantastic game or two or three! So, whenever anything ruins the games in the slightest, I have to admit that I am never content, because some things are far more inconveniencing than others. This latest issue involved my a/c suddenly developing an extreme problem right at the very moment of kickoff. It was absolutely working fine, and the living room felt nice and cool, when all of a sudden, I heard a bad screeching noise and a bang, and suddenly, there was no more cool air flow through the air vents in the living room or anywhere else in the house! I just sat there stunned for a moment, because I could not think about my bad luck. I very much would not have appreciated my a/c giving out on me so suddenly anytime during the rest of the week, despite the fact that I would have taken the problem at any other time, literally any other time but this! At 1st, I reasoned that it was not particularly hot outside and I would be able to still have fun somewhat, even separate from an a/c. However, after a mere twenty minutes, I felt beads of sweat trickle down my brow. The game was quite exciting, so I did not absolutely notice it until then. I sighed and waited for a commercial. Then, I grabbed a fan from a closet and pointed it at my feet. The Heating as well as A/C emergency would have to wait, because I was getting through this football game anyway!
