And then my fiance plus I were reminded that it was time to change the air filter last weekend! It was especially cold on Sunday evening plus all of us turned the oil furnace on before all of us made the decision to go to bed.

I got rid of the old air filter plus installed a crisp plus clean one separate from any dirt or dust. My fiance plus I waited a minute plus all of us hoped that the apartment would get warmer. Shortly after supper, I checked the control device plus it was 76 degrees in the house. The furnace was still running at that time, however it shut off about a minute later. I’ve been warned about dirty air filters in the past, however this is the first time I have ever experienced furnace troubles just because the air filter was clogged. The cold wintertime air was a chilling reminder to change the air filter.
