We’ve had complications with the smart control component decreasing temperatures in the middle of the evening after the people I was with and I set it to 69F for the evening.

There is nothing worse than waking up in a pool of sweat because your air conditioning decided to turn off for the evening. When I woke up this day it was 69F in the home and the control component was set to 75F again. I’ve gone through the owner’s manual and thought I had it figured out but apparently I didn’t. It’s kind of funny because I am a mechanical engineer and I still can’t figure out how to operate the darn thing. I feel I need to go back and get my master’s degree in Heating & A/C systems and smart control units. I’m happy I did leave the engineering world because they were toiling me each day from 730am to 630pm 6 mornings a month and I was left with no energy at the end of each day. I was building Heating & A/C units and heat pumps and was responsible for 26 employees, all at the young age of 26, and it proved to be too much for me so I left it and it was 1 of the best decisions I’ve ever made. You don’t need to stay in the same career field if you no longer have the passion for it. Just make the jump and don’t look back. I still love to toil on Heating & A/C units but now I do it on my own schedule.
