The last thing I like to think about during the cooler season is my air conditioner. The weather has been cold around here & the low temperatures have been in the single digits for a really long time now. I don’t suppose it is ever going to warm up at this point. I’m hoping that Spring will be here fairly soon though. The way things are going, I’m not so positive. Anyway, I usually do not think about my air conditioner system throughout the cooler season, but this year has been different! See, I was outside taking the garbage out & I happened to glance behind my garage at my air conditioning equipment that sits on a slab of concrete back there. My cooling system equipment was dented & knocked halfway off of the concrete slab! There were also multiple wires sticking out of the side of my cooling system equipment that I’d never seen before. There was also a giant icicle poking out of the top. This icicle was rather large, & it looked like it had fallen off my garage roof & slammed right into the cooling system, knocking it off the base & doing some serious damage. So of course, now, I am entirely the only person in this region who is calling their Heating as well as Air Conditioning company to schedule an appointment for their air conditioner equipment when it’s still cold outside. When I made the appointment, the Heating as well as Air Conditioning contractor asked me if I really needed my cooling system repaired & not my furnace.
