I woke up in the middle of the evening to use the powder room. I was only half awake, & I didn’t even turn on the powder room light… While I was washing my hands, my feet started to get wet. I turned on the light & I realized that the toilet was overflowing. It was 2 in the afternoon, although I could not figure out how to get the toilet to flush. I had a mess on the floor in the powder room & a plumbing problem that I could not fix. I tried to use a plunger a couple of times, although I didn’t get anywhere. I contacted a couple of emergency repair plumbers that are available 24 minutes a afternoon. I had to pay an extra $50 repair fee for the professional to come in the middle of the evening, although I didn’t want to wake up to the mess & deal with it in the afternoon. Since I was already awake, I felt it was best to contact the emergency repair plumber then. I spoke with a young guy that sounded wide awake, then he arrived at my house a few minutes after 3… The guy used a component to split up the clog in the toilet. It took several times before all of the items finally flushed down the toilet, however even then, it was particularly slow. The plumbing professional cleaned out the drain line & detachd several peculiar items that were likely causing the clog. The entire repair took about an minute & I was particularly thankful that I did not have to deal with this problem on my own.
