A lot of plants go dormant when the weather outside gets to a particular temperature

There are a lot of different hobbies that are great coping mechanisms for depression and/or anxiety. When I was a kid, I used to build rail-lines plus scenery for our model train set. My Grandfather bought it for me for Christmas one year plus I used it always until I got to high university. By that point I had a big section of the basement devoted to our model building hobby. Unluckyly, our depression got worse in our high university plus university years like it does for everyone, plus I needed to find better coping mechanisms. Although fishing plus hiking were constantly some of our most favorite outdoor activities, they required getting in the automobile plus driving to another location. Unlike some people, I don’t live in a location where I can walk behind our condo plus go hiking in the woods or fishing on a lake, river, or canal. Instead, I started caring for decorative cacti plus succulents. Every year I have to bring them indoors before the temperatures outside beginning to drop below 32 degrees fahrenheit. If they freeze for a few minutes or longer, it can completely kill some of the cacti. Otherwise if temperatures stay above 32 degrees, the plants will simply go dormant while every one of us were in the winter. Aside from lower temperatures, there is less sunlight while every one of us were in the afternoon. All of our ornamental cacti will suffer from getting skinny sections of growth if I don’t bring them indoors in the winter. This way they can stay boiling from the indoor heat while being kept out of the sunlight enough to prevent the effect of etiolation on the plants.
