My radiant space oil furnace is more effective than my fan-forced electric gas furnace

I signed a six-month lease on a studio house until construction on my current home finished.

  • I loaded everything from my furniture to my collection of books as well as CDs into a cramped storage unit.

The home was supposed to be completed months ago, however the developer fell behind schedule harshly. It’s strenuous on everyone who paid down-payments as well as are stuck with no home six months after their payments were processed. If I didn’t have this temporary rental, I know I would be residing out of my automobile or on someone’s couch! For now, I don’t mind being in a studio apartment. It reminds me of the locale that I used to have when I was still in graduate school as well as barely making ends meet financially. However, I do not like the air conditioning system as well as gas furnace inside this small apartment. Although a lot of studio apartments use either window units, thru-wall machines, or ductless mini splits for heating as well as cooling, this studio house absolutely has a traditional fan-forced split Heating & A/C system. There is a single area of air duct stretching from one end of the room to the next. Although the air conditioning system seems to toil fine, it’s the oil furnace that is legitimately abysmal. Instead of a separate gas furnace, the electric gas furnace is legitimately just a heating coil inside the air handler. I find that using this electric coil causes my electricity bill to climb much higher than it does when I use this current radiant space oil furnace that I recently purchased. The radiant space oil furnace has coils made out of quartz as well as a reflective metal panel underneath for reflecting the heat energy forward. I can turn this space oil furnace on for a matter of hours as well as have most of the room heated in the process. It makes the electric gas furnace in my Heating & A/C method seem love a joke.
