I had to wrestle a lizard from the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C unit

I live in a state where there are a lot of local lizards.

I see them every year, & they are often on trees or fence posts, or scurrying across the sidewalks.

I don’t mind the lizards, since they don’t bother me, however there is a single thing that is terrible about them; Since they are reptiles, they are cold blooded, so they need an external heat source to keep them warm. That external heat source is the sun, however when it is cloudy & winter, I suppose the lizards begin to get desperate for heat, then every Winter separate from fail, I always have a few lizards in our home, then luckily for them, I don’t have cats or anything that could hunt them, however the lizards choose the worst spots to hide in. In our chase to get them, they usually run for small dark & secluded spots. Unluckyly, those spots seem to be the a/c vents in our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. Then I have to suddenly make sure the a/c stays off while I wait for them to reapplum & capture them to put them back outside. I could do what a lot of people do, & just let them hop in the a/c device & not care, but I can’t help however to know terrible for them. They are only trying to survive, & since it’s absolutely cold outside, they come inside hoping for warmth, online, I suppose I finally found the solution to our problem. There is such a thing as a Heating, Ventilation, & A/C cover, which would prevent the lizards from getting inside the a/c component & getting themselves killed.
