I was devastated when my house caught on fire.
I lost everything in that fire, bu tI is thankful that nobody that I loved died.
However, I had a lot of pictures and keepsakes that burned, and there was no way that I was going to ever be able to replace that. Thankfully, I had insurance, and that covered the cost of replacing my entire home. One thing that I was very glad about was that this opportunity allowed me to replace the HVAC units that were at my house. I know that it sounds silly that I was happy about HVAC units even though my house burned down, but I really did hate the HVAC units that were at my house. When I purchased my house, the furnace was already pretty old, and the central air conditioner wasn’t in working condition. Thankfully, I was able to get the central air conditioner running after a little while, but since the central air conditioner sat there for a very long time, it never cooled my house down as well as a new central air conditioner would have. The furnace wasn’t much better. Even though the furnace kept my house warm, the furnace was very inefficient, and it cost me a lot of money each month to keep the furnace running. When I was building my new house after the fire, I got enough money to purchase a brand new furnace and central air conditioner, and the difference was noticeable. I am sad about my old house, but I am not sad that I don’t have to deal with my own HVAC units.
