I have seen a lot of ridiculous things in the ten years that I have been an HVAC repair specialist, but during that time, I have interacted with hundreds of shoppers plus I have found myself in more than 2 unusual situations, then nothing in that time prepared me for what happened on Tuesday morning, then my coworker plus I went to a routine upgrade job out in the country.
Neither 1 of us were particular ly thrilled about driving an hour to the upgrade job, but the scenery was pretty; Both of us arrived at the job plus found an old farmhouse on a sprawling 28 acre property… The owner of the house was a young hipster.
The guy recently bought the property to turn it into a marijuana farm, he wanted us to get rid of the old heating vents plus ductwork plus seal up all of the spaces. The guy is setting up ductless heating plus cooling throughout the entire place, however we’re going to install the ductless heating plus cooling units next week after the carpet plus flooring gentlemen are finished. My coworker plus I started in the cellar plus worked our way to the top of the house so the people I was with and I could beginning at the gas furnace. Both of us removed about 15 or 20 ft of ductwork plus I saw something shiny in the light of our flashlight; I removed some dust plus cobwebs plus saw a pretty bracelet covered in jewels… For a hour, I thought it might be real but would have been worth millions of dollars. Both of us provided it to the owner who told us that it was just a piece of costume jewelry.
