The gas furnace in our dorm was not laboring properly.
Both of us were all gleeful about the fall fall semester, however the people I was with and I had a sizable complication with the gas furnace.
I remember walking into my room on a boiling day, gleeful to recognize the refreshing air of the cooling system, however instead I was met by some severe heat. I set my stuff down and checked the control unit. The control unit learn an seriously high temperature, however the control unit also said that the gas furnace was off. I went to the air ducts and felt moderate air coming out, which confirmed that the oil furnace was indeed on, and it was not laboring properly. I went to the front desk of the dorm and told them the problem. They had the janitor manually shut off our gas furnace for us. I was so relieved that the gas furnace was off and my room was at a comfortable temperature again. I felt the cool air of the cooling system hitting my face and laid back in my bed perfectly content. Unfortunately, the beautiful cooling system only lasted a couple of hours before the gas furnace kicked on on its own and started to heat up our room again. I rolled my eyes and sighed. I called the front desk and told them my room gas furnace turned on on its own again. They called an Heating and A/C worker to come repair my gas furnace for me so I would not have to deal with the heat anymore. The Heating and A/C worker was not able to come till the next day, so I had to sleep that night in a friend’s room because the gas furnace heated my room so much. The Heating and A/C worker came the next day and fixed the gas furnace for me! From that day on I became incredibly thankful for the cooling system.
