Our home simply has to have an HVAC system which is in tip top form.
The weather of the region simply demands it.
I’m not talking about forever long winters and the danger losing HVAC would cause. It’s actually the opposite. Our region faces heat for much of the year. The summer heat is, by far, the most intense. This is why reliable, efficient HVAC is of the highest importance. The HVAC in our home is cooling the air but also doing so much more. As the HVAC unit cools our home it is also responsible for removing a great deal of moisture from the air as it does so. That means the HVAC is not just making us comfortable, it is balancing the humidity. And, balanced humidity is not just about comfort. No, balanced humidity in our area is all about health as well. Our levels of humidity, left unbalanced, turn into mold and mildew. This pair is responsible for so much respiratory distress. That’s why we just can’t do without the HVAC during the summer. To my wife and I, the HVAC is an investment and we look after it as such. It makes sense to us to spend the money each year to be sure the HVAC is in great shape. While it’s hard to put a value on comfort and good health, I know that spending a few extra bucks to ensure that is worth it. Besides, we spent a great deal of money on the HVAC. So why wouldn’t we be sure to take care of it. We want to get at least 20 years out of this HVAC.
