I’m very thankful that the same thing did not happen to the skin on my body
My uncle gave me a job working at his repair business every day after school. I go directly from school to the repair business and I help out with whatever my uncle needs to be done. Sometimes I sleep and mop the floors and sometimes I count inventory. I was putting up some items in the back of the repair business when a bottle of chemicals spilled all over the floor. Some of the chemicals got onto my jeans and my uncle freaked out. He told me that I had to take off my clothes quickly. Then he got out the hose and started covering me with water. I didn’t realize that there were any dangerous chemicals in the heating and AC repair business. I guess my uncle uses these chemicals when he has to handle commercial business repairs or installations. My uncle was freaking out when he saw my jeans and he told me to keep standing under the water until he told me to stop. My jeans were starting to melt even though they were covered with water. I thought I was going to die and I started to worry. My uncle assured me that everything would be fine. I’m very thankful that the same thing did not happen to the skin on my body. After I spilled all of the chemicals, my uncle told me that I could not work in the back of the heating and AC repair business anymore. He was really worried that something was going to happen, especially after that weird and bizarre freak accident.
