I went to visit my mom and dad on Tuesday this week.
I usually only go to visit my mom and dad once a month, because it is almost a hundred miles between the two of us.
I had to meet with a client about 25 miles from that place where my mom and dad live, so I decided to pop in and surprise them tuesday. I called my mom to make sure that she was home, but I didn’t tell her that I was just around the corner. My mom told me that she was making cookies and my dad was doing something downstairs in the basement. When I got to my mom’s house, she was very surprised to see me. I told her that I was going to stay and have some lunch. He told me she said that on the table and she was going to make me a sandwich. She told me that she had already eaten lunch, but there were some leftover things and she was going to make me a plate. While I was sitting at the table, I noticed something leaking from the bottom of the window AC unit in the living room. My mom and dad do not have central air conditioning. I’ve tried to talk them into central air conditioning 100 different times, but they are stuck in their ways and just prefer window AC units. I told my mom that the unit in the living room was leaking and she told me it was fine. Apparently, she knew that there was a problem and it did not matter at all
