My experience taking part in the trivia that teaches more about heating

As a team player, I decided to participate in the more about heating trivia for the company. The industry holds such trivia every quarter to see which company has the bragging right to the best company in the industry based on their knowledge. There were four other local contractors from different local businesses, and I had to participate with them. I did not know their years of expertise, just the companies they were in. The questions ranged from multiple choice to answers that needed further explanation. One of the questions I found difficult to explain was about the issues affecting a geo heat pump. Seeing that this heating device is located underground, there is very little need for heater maintenance, and thus I could not think of any issues that can affect it. The lady next to me pressed the buzzer and came up with two points. Even though this was trivia, I still learned much more about HVAC systems. I was good with questions about other heating equipment, such as space heaters and central heating. I was doing well until the interviewer asked how much new heating would cost a residential homeowner, including a new digital thermostat. I also did well in explaining the various energy-saving help tips for residential and commercial owners though I did a lot of explaining. In addition to the bragging rights, the winner would take home a complimentary heating service, including a free tune-up to promote quality heating. I came out second among the five of us, and even though I did not win, I still learned a lot and represented my company. To me, that was already a win.
