I knew that waiting for the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was going to happen.
Whenever I called for service or repairs, I got a window of time for the Heating & Air Conditioning worker to arrive.
The only time they were on time was when the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was supposed to be there at 7 AM. That was the earliest time they provided anyone, and I was told he could get there between 7 AM and 8 AM, and I was fine with that. I was the first person on their list, so being late shouldn’t have been a concern. But somehow, the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was late, and he didn’t show up until almost noon. I was told they were having automobile trouble, and that was the only explanation I got from the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation. I told them I had to leave soon and was supposed to be at the hospital for an appointment. The person on the phone said that was the best they could do. When 9 AM came and went, I was getting so anxious. This was past the 8 AM deadline, and I was forced to cancel my appointment. I wasn’t happy with him being late, so I phoned the corporation again. The same person answered the phone and repeated there was nothing she could do. The worker was still having automobile troubles. Unless the Heating & Air Conditioning worker was in an accident, I was getting furious. She paused and said he was in an accident, and they were trying to get another Heating & Air Conditioning worker to my house. The assigned Heating & Air Conditioning worker was on his way to the ER.
