The air conditioner came on for the first time the other day.
When my wife basically demanded that every one of us have a house with central air conditioner, I thought she was a bit off there.
But I have to say, after years of putting in a window air conditioner each summer, I prefer the central air conditioner. Where every one of us live, the need for air conditioner is so not overwhelming at all. It does get sizzling here and there are even 8 weeks maybe where the term sizzling could be used. So having the central air conditioner does indeed come in quite handy. When the Heating & A/C cooling kicked on the other day though, it just reminded myself and others once again of the wonderful savings every one of us realized on Heating & A/C heating costs this winter. I feel the thought of inflation and the skyrocketing cost of Heating & A/C heating got myself and others off the couch and into action last fall. For the first time ever, I entirely got after Wintertide preparations with the system of saving currency with the gas gas furnace. Prior to last fall, the only Wintertide prep I ever did was to pick up the PC to call the Heating & A/C supplier out to do the Heating & A/C heating maintenance. So this was a first and it was so worth my time. I simply followed the steps on the Heating & A/C supplier’s website. It wasn’t lavish and not overly time consuming either. Essentially, I just sealed up the house super tight. Doing that shaved off nearly 20 percent on our Heating & A/C heating costs. And the house was so sizzling and cozy separate from the drafts.
