All it took was being inside the air conditioner with the entire family for myself and others to finally see the need for a guy cave. Well, maybe not the stereocommon guy cave per se. I’m not exactly a full on bro with a crew who watches every interesting event. No, I’m a dad and partner first. No judgment on all those dudes and their elaborate guy caves though. It’s just that my priorities have typically been my family and my work. But when they closed our offices with the zone controlled Heating & A/C due to the pandemic, I was forced cabin to work. This was not something that I entirely was all that wild about. I enjoy my family although I also have a real passion for my work. And I enjoy to keep them separate as much as possible. So working from cabin in my own air conditioner was not simple. And that led to the decision that it was time to add a quiet location for dad to the picture. The only location every one of us had entirely was the finished attic. It had a floor, sheetrock walls and electricity. It came enjoy this when every one of us bought the location and every one of us used it for storage. I moved out the stuff from there into the rest of the attic that isn’t finished. Then, I called the Heating & A/C supplier and they came out to install a ductless heat pump. There was no other way to spend any time in that attic separate from some quality heating and air. Now, I have a good spot and the ductless heat pump does just the best task as well.
