My friend used to be an HVAC technician.
It is really nice because he does a lot of things for me now. He has fixed my air conditioner twice, and he fixed my furnace this last winter. It was really rough when my furnace died this past winter. It was much worse than when my air conditioner died a couple of times. The reason that it was so much worse was that they couldn’t live without my furnace. When my air conditioner stopped working, it did stink pretty badly because my house got really warm, but it was okay. I could live without air conditioning forever if I had to. My furnace went out last winter in the middle of the night when it was only like twenty degrees outside. It was so bad. It got cold in my house so quickly. I actually called an HVAC company because I totally forgot that my friend was an HVAC technician. I was so panicked that I couldn’t think straight. It was the middle of the night, so no HVAC companies answered their phones. I left messages for all of them saying that I needed help with my furnace immediately. Well, it took me like three hours to remember that I had a friend who used to be an HVAC technician. When I finally remember, I called him immediately. I asked him if he could come over and fix my furnace as soon as possible. He was at my house within an hour, and he began working on my furnace. It only took him about two hours to get my furnace working again. I am so glad that he was there for me that night.
