Bandmates and baseboard heaters

I haven’t played with my bandmate in a couple of weeks and am starting to get the itch to do so.

He was gone in the mountains recently, but now he is back and it looks like we will play in four more days at a club open mic night.

We would like to get in the clubs in town and then start doing other clubs, but we want to make money doing gigs so we are working on promotional material so that they can see what we are all about. We are getting cards made at the local business soon and will dish them out to all of the local contractors and clubs in town to see who bites. We want to make $100 each per night minimum and we think we have a good amount of songs to do concerts and really put on a good show for everyone. I want to play in heated ski lodges in the winter and air conditioned beach bars in the summer, but I need to get my bandmate on the same page as me because he is a bit leary of pushing our band so soon. We’ve been playing together for just a year, but he has 20 years of musical experience and I have 18 years of performing arts experience with some music mixed in. I started music when I was a new contractor back when I had a drum set in my air conditioned dorm room, so I think between me and my bandmate’s experience we are ready for the next level.
