It is April 15th today, oh no! I did my taxes and that is all I will say about the topic because taxes are not fun.
I don’t know why anyone would want to be in the tax field for work as it seems so mundane and stressful, but I guess there is a job for everyone.
They probably say the same about me doing standup comedy for 15 or so years. I like being a writer though, because I get to use my brain while I listen to relaxing music to balance out the thinking. My new contractor buddy told me they are going to play ball later today so I want to get my work done before I leave the air conditioned luxury of my flat and hit the beach. I may play a few games but I really need to get my lower back pain to stop, a pain that I haven’t felt in many years but have been feeling it for a week or so now. It is probably from the stress of the hot water heater breaking and me having a tough time installing a new heating device. Well, it is installed now but has a very slow leak that will need to be fixed soon. I can call up the HVAC business down the road and get a heating tech to come out, but I think I can fix the leak myself with a little bit of patience. I just need to shut off the water supply and loosen the connections at the base of the unit and add some teflon tape.
