Moving overseas and starting a new life

I know I am a bit spoiled although I like to be nice and cool in the evening when I sleep, even keeping a small fan at our bedside to add an additional layer of cooling beyond our central air conditioning

It is going to be surreal when I walk into our flat in two weeks and start our other life overseas as I have been here in the US for a couple of months already. But, I am here for about as long as everyone goes on vacation, so I will pretend that today is our first day here in the US and start all over from scratch. It feels nice being here in our dad’s house where the Heating and A/C proposal keeps it nice and cool, as opposed to dripping with sweat like crazy in some of the flats I’ve lived in overseas with no cooling system. A lot of people live without heat or A/C over there and just suffer needlessly when all they had to do was buy a small portable oil furnace or A/C component and live in comfort. I know some of them are so broke that it isn’t even an option to buy something like that. Then again, some people I have come across over there say that they don’t like air conditioning because it messes with their sinuses by drying them out. I myself couldn’t live without our A/C and heat in the hotter months, respectively. I know I am a bit spoiled although I like to be nice and cool in the evening when I sleep, even keeping a small fan at our bedside to add an additional layer of cooling beyond our central air conditioning. I’ve also gone through a winter without heat and it was one of the worst winters of our life.
