The air conditioning came on for the first time the other morning.
When our wife basically demanded that the two of us have a home with central air conditioning, I thought she was a bit off there.
But I have to say, after years of putting in a window air conditioning each summer, I appreciate the central air conditioning. Where the two of us live, the need for air conditioning is so not overwhelming at all. It does get boiling here & there are even 8 weeks maybe where the term sizzling could be used. So having the central air conditioning does indeed come in quite handy. When the Heating, Ventilation & A/C cooling kicked on the other morning though, it just reminded me once again of the fantastic savings the two of us realized on Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating costs this winter. I think the thought of inflation & the skyrocketing cost of Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating got me off the couch & into action last fall. For the first time ever, I absolutely got after Winter time preparations with the system of saving money with the gas gas furnace. Prior to last fall, the only Winter time prep I ever did was to pick up the PC to call the Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier out to do the Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating repair. So this was a first & it was so worth our time. I simply followed the steps on the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business’s website. It wasn’t costly & not overly time consuming either. Essentially, I just sealed up the home super tight. Doing that shaved off nearly 20 percent on our Heating, Ventilation & A/C heating costs. And the home was so boiling & cozy without the drafts.
