It was that time of the month again that everyone in my household dreads but ends up enjoying nonetheless.
It was a general cleaning morning, and that time around, I wanted us to be more thorough since the indoor air felt dustier! We all started cleaning and had fun while doing it, and by 2 PM, every area of the home was sparkling clean, but later in the evening, my partner, George, commented that the air quality had not wholly improved. We watched a cooling industry documentary where both of us got to learn more about a/c. Later on, George came up with contacting an a/c provider and seeing if we could get a solution to our problem. We pride ourselves on having a quality a/c, but both of us knew little about taking care of the multi-split a/c unit. The a/c serviceman asked him many questions, including the last time both of us had air conditioning maintenance. It had been a while since we had the air conditioning replacement inspected, so he told the a/c serviceman that the last time we had a/c repair had been many months before. We made an appointment with the a/c company, and they assured us that a cooling specialist would come to our new home the morning after next. The tech from the indoor comfort supplier came at the agreed time and morning. It was not just the a/c that needed servicing but also the control unit. Later on, the indoor air was crispy and fresh and we were able to achieve it not just through a thorough cleaning but also by having our system inspected. The children even made fun by saying if only they had known, they would not have gone through the detailed cleaning process since that was not even the main issue.
