Voices in the air vents

I am on day seven of my quarantine, and let me tell you, this is not a drill, this is a for-real quarantine.

I am not practicing social distancing, it’s much more than that.

I was exposed to the coronavirus at work last week. Since we found out, everyone at my job went into total isolation. At first it was kind of fun, kind of exciting, but being totally alone is starting to get to me. Am I going crazy, or is this what it’s like to be so bored and have no option? Last night I thought I heard voices come from the air vent in my bedroom. I climbed up on my bed, being so careful and quiet, and put my ear right up against the air vent. I am sure I heard someone talking although it sounded very far away, like from deep within the ductwork. The next morning I turned off the AC and listened again, and I must have stood there for an hour or so. I went to other air vents throughout the house, spending a few minutes at each one, but all was quiet. I ran the air conditioner like usual for the rest of the day, but I would turn it off from time to time to see if there were any other strange noises. Late the next night I heard it again, the same voice, coming from the same air vent. Now I have to decide if my HVAC system is haunted, if I’m going crazy, or if maybe I have the virus!
